The Seagull takes the 2010 Open!!
Spid wins the 2010 Open on the back of a sensational 40 Stabie performance at Wairakei. Adi finishes strongly posting 36 Stabies at Kinloch but not enough to catch the leader. Other notable events as follows:
- despite years of practice to gain optimum match fitness, Smith succumbs to alcohol and is hammered by 8.30pm. Stages late evening come-back with Marty heading into Taupo to try and chat up women young enough to be their daughters..shocker!
- Scott loses his mind and his car keys.
All in all a great tourney and well done to Trev for his supreme organisation effort.

2009 Open ends in Controversy!
Martin Duke takes the 2009 in controversial circumstances following a rain affected shortened final round that saw Scott Spicer & Martin Keane lose their minds and play on after the final whistle.
